Some explanations benefit from movement and narration: a sequence of steps, a worked example, or an idea that becomes clearer when it unfolds over time. For learning teams, the challenge is connecting that video to a clear teaching purpose and a script they have actually reviewed.

Video generation in eDoer starts from the module you are creating. Curators can ask for a short narrated video, inspect a scene-by-scene plan, refine the wording, and approve production. The review happens before the final video is generated.

Shape the explanation around the learner

Choose Generate video from the module’s Main Content area to prepare the request in the AI Dock. Set a duration from 30 seconds to three minutes, choose a language, audience and learning approach, and add instructions about what the video should achieve. A step-by-step explanation or a worked example gives the same topic a different teaching direction.

A short introduction for beginners needs a different explanation from a worked example for an experienced audience. Setting that direction helps connect the proposed video to the module’s learning outcome before you consider its visual treatment.

Review the story before approving production

eDoer presents a scene-by-scene plan. Each scene includes a Narration field and a What viewers will see summary. Read the spoken explanation in sequence and check whether it teaches the point you want to make. The plan is a concrete opportunity to spot missing context or an example that needs adjustment.

Edit the narration or describe a change, then choose Update plan and review the revised result. When the plan is ready, Generate video approves that version for production. This gives the author a meaningful place to shape the explanation before it becomes a finished learning asset.

Add the finished video to your module

When generation is complete, the finished video appears in the AI Dock. Play it through to check the narration, visuals and pacing. When the result fits your lesson, choose Use to set it as the module’s main content, then save the module.

The takeaway

Review the script, generate the video, and add it to your module in eDoer.
